I am back, back, back, back again!

    HELLO!

Well If you didn't guess from the title I went to Love Box! WAHOOO! If you aren't from the U.K or don’t know what Love Box it is a day festival where lots of singers and performers from across the globe come and perform! I went with my friends to the Friday, so the two main headliners where Solange and Frank Ocean and boy, oh boy was I GASSED. You don’t understand the love I have for those two. I absolutely adore ‘A Seat at the Table’ and everything that Frank has ever done so I had to get tickets!

    FRANK BABY

So the Thursday to the Saturday I was living the London adventure. I had just been up for pride (as you guys know) and I was so happy to be back. London is my town, I love everything about it! It was a real treat to be back in such a short amount of time! Especially to see my babies.

Anyways lets get to the most important thing, what I wore!

    Me and meh pals
    <3

T-shirt- 2pac hommage tee from Primark (the men’s section).
Shorts- Chef trousers  from eBay, that I turned into chef shorts.
Shoes- Some milatarly boots that are from H&M.

Beware these are terrible pictures of my outfit, I got so gassed for Love box that I completely forget about getting good pictures!

Anyhow the day/night was a complete success. To round up, Frank was as beautiful as ever, Solange has the voice of an angel and I almost got puked on while watching Kaytranada. It was a magical day.

I think you can tell how happy I was just by the amount of exclamation marks that I use in this post. Each one justified however. It really was that good of a day. I love festivals, this is something that I have said on multiple occasions but it is the truth, if you have never been to a festival WHAT ARE YOU DOING! Honestly get your bum to your local festival and let your hair down girlfriend!

    Why Hello!

On Saturday I travelled up to my capital city, London. The reason behind this was PRIDE!

Hurrah!!!!! I had never been to a major pride event before but I am so glad that I did! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! It was so lovely to have so many people all together to support the LGBT+ community, everyone was just so lovely and nice to each other it was magical!!

The weather was fantastic, which is a rare for ye ol’ London town (I even got a sunburn). Me and my friends decided to watch the parade and stuck around Trafalgar square the majority of the time, but there were so many other events happening all across London such as concerts and drag performances, which I am insanely jealous of! Some of my favourite Ru Paul girls where there!

The parade was insane though, there was so much love, consideration and just overall amazing-ness (is that a word?) that you could feel in the air! So incredibly proud of my city, I love that London is such a diverse and amazing place and supports everyone regardless of what shape, colour, size, sex what ever it doesn't matter! I honestly recommend that everyone goes to pride at least once, I promise you will enjoy every second!

I really hope that everyone enjoys this post! LGBT+ rights are something that is dear to my heart. Everyone has the right to love who ever they want to. It still baffles me how some people can be so small minded! But events like this prove to everyone that sexuality or gender is fluid that isn't as simple as straight males and females! We are all on a spectrum people! But I am getting a little preachy so anyways I highly advise you make the trip to your local pride event and show your

    Hello,Hello,Hello!

    *Insert Ru Paul pun here*

If I were to ask my friends to describe me, ‘innovative’ might be one of the words that comes to their mind (and possibly some other words that I cant repeat). I am a DIY queen. I absolutely adore being able to make something myself or to customise it so that it is completely unique, especially within fashion. Another thing is that I am a student. So that means I am broke. Like cup-o-noddles for dinner broke. This means if there is a certain trend I want to follow then I need to get crafty with it and try and make it work from items that are already in my wardrobe. Or if I have a few coppers to spare then I might nip down to my local British Heart foundation and look at some pieces in there that I might be able to alter to make it look more modern and trendy.

I know my first world problems are hard.

So when I saw the latest fashion week’s that was full of interesting patterns and fabrics I knew I had to combine it with some of my pre-existing items! I wanted to jazz up some fake Air Force One’s that I purchased while on holiday about three years ago, they are so painfully obviously  fake that I just cant wear them without facing pure ridicule from my fashionista friends, so it gave me the perfect opportunity to get my glue gun fired up.

I painted a checkered print over the Nike sign which anyone and their mother can do. I done mine in fabric paints so it would last a little longer but honestly a sharpie will do the same job. I also hot glued some burberry tartan fabric that I managed to get from a charity shop to the front of the shoe to give them that early 2000’s vibe that I am obsessssedddd with at the moment. You can spice up your trainers with anything though!

What I am trying to get at is that don't be afraid to make some items your own. Get a bit crafty with it! I have always found that my most complimented items are items that I have made myself! But also remember not to beat your self up to much if something you DIY hasn't turned out the way you thought it would, its a game of you win some you lose some, so don't get to stressed with it, have some fun! There is personally nothing I love more then sitting down with my hot glue gun and some old pieces of clothing that I can turn into something new!

Holy crap on a cracker. IT IS SO FRICKING HOT! I am currently in the shade like dracuala, hiding away from the sunlight. On a plus note I am attending London Pride tomorrow! Super excited to get jigggy all in the name of equality! I am going to take a load of photos and probably do a post about the whole experience on Tuesday, exciting stuff!

    Sorry.

    Désolé,Ich bedaure,ごめんなさい, etc.

    A year.

A whole fricking year I have deserted this blog. A WHOLE  FRICKING YEAR.
There is no excuse for my abandonment. However I will say that I did have a lot going on so blogging was kinda pushed to the back of mind and before I knew it the summer turned into winter which grew into spring and sure enough summer was once again upon me. But now I am back from university for the summer and being back home means copious amounts of free time, so I have decided to dust off my blogger login and get back into blogging!

If you are a returning visiter to my little corner of the internet then WELCOME BACK!!! As you can see I have spruced the place up a bit, there is a new logo and a snazzy new layout! If you haven't been here before, please do NOT read any of my previous posts. They are fucking terrible. Honestly I read back a few the other day and Jesus Christ, what was I thinking?!?!
But anyways, enough thinking about that past. Let us look to the future!

I decided to regenerate my blog by showing you guys my outfit, this is a fashion blog after all. The weather in England has been temperamental (get it??? Like temperature! LOL I am hilarious) one week it is 30 degrees, and then the next day it was hurricane levels of rain and wind!!! But today was a classic British summer time day. 15 degrees with chance of rain. Lovely.

So in order to play it on the safe side I decided to wear an oversized white linen Ralph Lauren shirt teamed up with some red silky pyjama trousers! The shirt is my papa’s and there is something about wearing a white linen shirt that makes you feel like you should be in a 80’s music video. I can see it now… the camera pans up on me standing on the edge of a mountain…  the breeze blowing my hair out slightly while I sing out a heart felt ballad…. No? Just me?

I really need to stop with the puns

The trousers where an absolute STEAL, I managed to wrangle them from a charity shop for £1.50!! Can you even believe that. I mean, I don't really want to think about the fact that I am wearing someone else’s (probably an old man) sleep wear but I mean £1.50!! I couldn't not buy them!!!!
I added some accessories like a bandana and some hoop earrings to modernise the outfit a bit, I also wore some white superstars to again give the outfit a more urban vibe and to make it look like I didn't actually come out with my PJ’s on.

This outfit is great for running errands as it is super comfy, I mean I was wearing pyjama’s, of course it was comfy! I managed to see my friends, pick up a few bits from town and the best part is I didn’t get the whole leg’s-are-going-to-fall-off feeling that I normally get after I wear skinny jeans for just a tad to long.
    Hooray for silky pantaloons!

I really hope this was an adequate post to return with, I am going to try update once every Monday (or Tuesday depending on how rough my weekend was) with a quality post that is well written and well thought out. When reading my older posts, I thought the best way to blog was every day. But everyday blogging produces shitty content so I am going to try and take my time, actually think about what I want to post and maybe even start to proof-read my writing now?!?!?

    Maybe.
